But the Hyggecare protective cover is also the perfect everyday addition for lively puppies in training, bitches in heat, or during the sensitive recovery period after operations.
Even after turbulent walks in the rain, with wet fur or dirty paws, the valuable inner core of the Hyggebed always remains hygienic, dry, and protected inside.

The elastic special fabric of our Hyggecare comes directly from human medical intensive care. It is 100% waterproof and at the same time convinces with exceptionally excellent breathability.
EFFECTIVE ALLERGY PROTECTION & ABSOLUTELY SILENT
In addition, the Hyggecare® offers comprehensive, safe protection for dogs with allergies – for example, against dust mites. Just like with the Hyggebed®, we meticulously ensured during development that the material is absolutely silent. No rustling, no crackling – for an undisturbed, deep sleep.
EASY HANDLING & CLEANING AT 60°C
The clever system consists of two parts and can be effortlessly pulled over both inner cores (inner cushion and outer ring) of the Hyggebed in no time, thanks to the all-around 360° zipper. For maximum, clinical hygiene, the protective cover can be easily machine washed at 60°C. Of course, the material is tested for harmful substances according to the strict OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 – for an all-round safe feeling.
(Important note on manufacturing: So that the Hyggecare® fits optimally and can breathe, the zipper and seams are precisely sewn and not welded. This prevents the unpleasant "balloon effect" when lying on it. Due to these functional seams, the cover offers an extremely high protective effect against moisture, but 100% laboratory waterproofness at the seams cannot be guaranteed due to the design.)

Easy care is made possible by the concealed 360° zipper. This allows the cover to be easily removed and washed.
The Hyggebed cover is washable at 30°C with standard detergent. Please do not use fabric softener.
For perfect cleaning, we recommend using a hygienic rinse aid (e.g. Sagrotan).
The cover is suitable for tumble drying and can be dried at a low temperature.
We only use the best fabrics that are durable, long-lasting, washable and easy to care for. This makes the Hyggebed® a true cuddling dream for your dog and offers maximum comfort.
The winter side is made of 100% super-premium polyester (cuddly faux fur). The summer side is made of 100% premium polyester (upholstery fabric) with a velvet look.
The inner cover is a special fabric made of 50% polyester and 50% cotton.
Our Hygge-Fill filling, specially developed for dogs, consists of visco foam, 3D climate fiber and PUR air cell sticks.
